We realize that some readers who are using Internet Explorer on a Windows computer might be having some trouble viewing the site. I’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the site is still sort of a work in progress, and we’re going to be fixing the problems as soon as we can. However, as the person responsible for scrutinizing the many lines of code that go into making www.michiganindependent.com look so sweet, I do have to place some of the blame on Microsoft for IE’s piss-poor support for CSS and other modern web standards.

If you’re using Mozilla Firefox or any Mac browser, this post doesn’t really apply to you, but I encourage you to chuckle at the expense of the poor, unfortunate IE users out there.

The bottom line is that while we will make every effort to accomodate Internet Explorer, this site, and every other worthwhile site on the planet, is best viewed in Firefox, which you can download for free here.
