Over the past several years, a fringe group of scientists have asserted that the causes of global warming lie mostly in the hands of the universe, not from mankind. It is said that fluctuations in cosmic rays, energetic particles from space that bombard the Earth’s atmosphere, directly contribute to greater cloud cover in the planet, and thus increasing global warming. Yet new research as publicized by the Institute of Physics directly contradicts this assertion. From the article:

“The new research shows that change in cloud cover over the Earth does not correlate to changes in cosmic ray intensity. Neither does it show increases and decreases during the sporadic bursts and decreases in the cosmic ray intensity which occur regularly.

One such very large burst caused the magnetic storm which blacked out the power in Quebec in 1989.”

So now that we are debunking topics like these and other distractions from actually dealing with the problem, let’s focus on the overwhelming evidence in the favor of a warming planet and figure out ways that we can solve it.

The correlation between solar activity and temperatures is unbelievable and far closer than C02.

And it is the only theory that explains the recent cooling on earth notwithstanding the causal mechanism (the IPCC model fails to explain the current cooling).
